Well, it's not like I'm jumping up and down clapping my hands with excitement over them, but I do get a certain satisfaction out of taking what I have on the page and shaping it into something (hopefully) better. <br /><br />And yes, the hard times are made more palatable by the hope that what you learn might help you avoid the same mistakes next time round, absolutely (although I suspect there will always be new mistakes to make.
