Book Giveaway!!!
Over the next few weeks we will be doing some book giveaways!
How cool is that?
The rules are simple:
1. Leave your name in the comments section of this post. (If you do not have a google account, you can sign in as "anonymous" and punch in your name.) Please enter. It's free.
2. If you can, link the contest on your blog or writer's forum. The more that join in, the merrier. We'd also love it if you'd link our blog on your blog. :) In turn, we will add a link to your blog.
Each drawing will take place on Friday -- the first THIS Friday, October 16th, when we will be giving away a copy of FIRE IN FICTION by Literary Agent Donald Maass.
THE DEADLINE TO ENTER IS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16TH AT 12PM EST. Remember -- all we need is your name!
We will announce the other book titles soon! Good luck and tell all of your friends! Free books would get ME here. :)

ReplyDeleteAs always my question: what about those a bit farther away from you? :)
ReplyDeleteA bit farther away from whom? We're all over the world, the four of us! We will send the prize anywhere on the planet :)

ReplyDeleteGorgeous blog. Hey, is the first time forum writers have created a group blog? If so, high time. Blessings to ya'll!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for a blog! You've been bookmarked, ladies. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Guys! What a super idea (the blog I mean. Well, the book giveaway is cool too :-))! I've linked already!
ReplyDeleteI WANT TO WIN!!! Can you hear me screaming? I WANT TO WIN! Good on all of you for creating something new and wonderful. (From Stephanie)
ReplyDeleteGreat blog, ladies, and all best luck! I'll add it to my blog roll right away. I look forward to much good reading here to come!
ReplyDeleteJennifer ("Jennifer W" in the forum)
First, congratulations on your new blog, Jennifer (and other American, two Australians. ;-)) A team blog is a very cool and fun idea! I'm looking forward to reading all about your journeys.
ReplyDeleteSecond, yes, please sign me up for your contest and pick my name on Friday!

Hello, ladies. So far I've just read this post of Claire's. but I'll sneak in time to catch up on the rest soon. Excellent bit about seeing so much in that poem, Claire. That kind of thing happens to me all the time. My last MS was born when someone mentioned the song "Cockeyed optimist" from South Pacific. The stars were aligned to open the door to my character's world with that simple trigger.

Put me in for the book draw? :)
ReplyDeleteDee-Ann
Jill here, I'd love to have a real Maas book. And can I join the blog too? What a neat idea. I bet Cathy would be keen too
ReplyDeleteHi ladies- thanks for stopping by and commenting :) You're all in the draw for Friday.
ReplyDeleteJill, we're looking at guest bloggers in the future, and of course you (and Cathy) are *always* welcome to join the chat in comments on any topic that comes up. But (to answer your question, and in case anyone else is wondering) we won't be adding more authors to the main game. This blog is about our writing, but it's also about the four of us and the unique (on and off-line) friendship we've developed.
Think of us as Sex and the City for writers, or maybe Seinfeld would be more appropriate (G).
I really need tgis book ! ! !
ReplyDeleteSheila Hudson
I just bought his workbook on Writing the Breakout Novel, but I could always use the newest book! Pick me!
ReplyDeleteCarmen Wright
Great blog! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCount me in! Me, me!

Hello Jen and friends,
ReplyDeleteIf you would like my name to enter the drawing, you can have it - LisaAnne Jurgeleit. I was also going to wish you luck, but I don't think you'll need it now - you've got a great idea, well executed, and the result is beautiful.
